It appears they are close, as The Sun reported an anonymous music insider saying: "It's been decided he will help her pen songs, and he might even provide some vocals."
Reportedly, this rumored couple is eager to start their music project.
On Monday, May 22, onlookers could spot the "Anti-Hero" singer entering Electric Lady Recording Studios wearing a cropped white top and frayed denim shorts.
Nearly a week after being spotted exiting a studio together in New York, the blonde beauty and the British rockstar's collaborative efforts have been reported.
A source with knowledge to them revealed that both stars are enthusiastic about their upcoming work, although they may need more time for recording due to their jam-packed agendas.
The source further revealed that although the experience of watching her performances has been invigorating for him, their collaboration this summer will be limited due to The 1975's tour schedule.
The two have been discussing the possibility of a significant collaboration that could include the entire band.
Matty reportedly feels he has to prove himself, and only then would he be willing to participate in a stage performance alongside her.
The source added, "Ideally, he'd love for it all to come together so everyone could be involved."
Amidst the excitement of her "Eras" Tour, which takes place throughout the US until August 9, Taylor Swift has also been providing her fans with a life update.
