Taylor Swift is already under fire for dating Matty Healy, the newly released collab between the "Anti-Hero" singer and Ice Spice is just fanning the flames.

When Swift brought the rising star on to work the remix version of "Karma," a song off her tenth studio album, "Midnights," fans were appalled.

Healy insulted Ice Spice in a podcast interview back in February by joking about her ethnicity. He apologized to the rapper during a live show months later.

"I never meant to hurt anybody," he said. "I'm sorry if I've offended you and, like, Ice Spice, I'm sorry. It's not because I'm annoyed that me joking got misconstrued, it's cause I don't want Ice Spice to think I'm a d**k. I love you, Ice Spice. I'm so sorry. I don't want anything to be misconstrued as mean."

Now that he and Swift are dating, fans are deeply troubled and bothered that Swift tapped Ice Spice for a collab despite the aforementioned issue between her boyfriend and the rapper.

Before the Release

Swift surprised her fans by announcing that not only is she dropping the collab song, but she is also releasing a deluxe version of her album, along with a "more Lana Del Rey" version of her song "Snow on the Beach."

"Collaborating with Ice Spice on 'Karma' was one of the most natural things," Swift said in an audio snippet from Spotify. "She reached out through her team, just kind of saying, 'Hey, Ice has been a big fan of Taylor's since she was a little kid, would love to collaborate if that was ever something that came about.'"

Upon the announcement of the collab, fans were outraged by the move, and criticized Swift.

"I love Taylor Swift as much as the next swiftie but this is such an interesting PR move," a fan wrote.

"She won't acknowledge fans' concerns about losing a safe space in her fan base bc of things Matty Healy has said and done," another wrote.

Many fans think that the "Lavender Haze" singer is just covering up for Healy by releasing the "Karma" remix with Ice Spice.

After the Release

The release of the "Karma" remix was met with mixed reactions, but most of them were not too good either.

Fans poked fun at the song, and uploaded video reactions to express their disinterest.

"Dat s**it whack," a fan wrote.

"Ice Spice could've done better ngl. It feels like she ain't even try on that verse."
