Fans have been worried about Sam Smith over the past few weeks after he only performed four songs at their concert last month and then eventually canceled it due to their vocal issues.

More recently, the "Unholy" hitmaker gave their supporters an update about their current condition and it appears that they're going back on stage anytime soon.

Taking to their official Instagram account, the musician told fans that their "vocal cords are healing" and after spending a week to have a vocal rest, "it's looking good."

What Happened to Sam Smith?

According to Billboard, the Academy Award-winning singer was forced to cancel their show at the Manchester AO Arena last month after just performing a few tracks.

At the time, the "Gloria" hitmaker said they didn't know what to say to their supporters but the only explanation they could give was they "fought off a virus" a few weeks ago and have since traveled across several cities in Europe.
