Lil Nas X was one of the performers of the recent Governors Ball Music Festival in New York City, but it appears that not everyone in the crowd enjoyed his performance as the singer was reportedly not in the mood to perform; what happened to his set?

According to Page Six, the "MONTERO" hitmaker took the stage of the Flushing Meadows Corona Park over the weekend and he reportedly told waiting fans that he didn't want to be there.

An insider spoke with the outlet to explain the reason behind his disappointment, saying he had to leave the stage for a few minutes during his opening because of technical difficulties.

"He said he had a bad day and just didn't want to do it," the insider claimed.

Lil Nas X was not in the mood throughout the remainder of his performance as the source described his show as "very begrudgingly" and was a "total downer."

Lil Nas X Governors Ball Music Festival Performance 'Affected Him'

There were other insiders who spoke with the outlet to share their thoughts about the musical performance, and they noted that the back up dancers were mainly the highlight as they "had to carry the show" for him because of the problems with his microphone.

At first, the "Industry Baby" hitmaker was looking forward to seeing his fans in the crowd, but he later got frustrated due to the incident.

"There were a lot of logisitcs that were off, and it all accumulated onstage when the mic wasn't working," the insider noted, adding that Lil Nas X was not the only performer who had the same issues.
