Takeoff's short life was cut off when he was suddenly shot and killed back in late 2022; his death left a gaping hole in his friends and family's hearts.

However, on what was supposed to be his 29th birthday, the late Migos Rapper is being remembered for his life and not his tragic death.

Fans, friends, family, and fellow musicians took to social media to remember Takeoff in the best way possible. Quavo, his uncle and best friend, took to Instagram to share some pictures and videos of Takeoff living his best life.

"Happy birthday [Takeoff]," he wrote. "Can't wait for days like this again! Best believe we goin' up all weel the rocket way. Geekd, you 29 n***a."

Migos Family

As of this writing, it is unclear if Quavo and Offset have mended their differences.

Before Takeoff passed away, Offset left the Migos trio to launch his solo career, while the remaining two members released singles and an album under the new moniker Unc & Phew.

Despite the bad blood going on between them, Offset has been vocally upset about his cousin's passing.

He, too, paid tribute to Takeoff on the rapper's birthday: "Happy birthday, rocket man. The great to touch a mic! Best spirit ever! Purest man I know. Your heart was golden."

"Bring me peace bra. We celebrate your life because you still right here. I love you, gang."

Quavo Dedicates New Album to Takeoff

According to reports, Quavo is back in the studio, working on his album titled "Rocket Power."

The album will be dedicated to Takeoff, but at the same time, it will be about his journey through grief and life without his beloved nephew.

"This is album is a true reflection of how I feel right now," the rapper wrote in a statement. "Sometimes I'm Good, sometimes I'm Down, sometimes I'm Disappointed, sometimes I fall apart but then I ALWAYS find my strength again,"

"I know everything might not be alright right now, but the rocket showed me a way to make it RIGHT!"

The rocket represents Takeoff, as it is a term commonly associated with launching space shuttles into the sky.

"Rocket Power keeps me going. Rocket Power gives me fuel. Rocket Power will help us all overcome whatever we're going through."
