Tyga was a rebound, and he helped her escape her problematic relationship with Mod Sun,' a close friend of Avril, 38, reveals exclusively to DailyMail.com.
Mod Sun, 36, stated in February that he was 'blindsided' by Avril's decision to cancel the tour.
During the same week, Avril was observed with the 33-year-old rapper Tyga, leading some to believe that she cheated on Mod with him. The source insisted, however, that this was not the case. Avril was not unfaithful to Mod.
