This year has been challenging for Lewis Capaldi as the singer continues to struggle with his mental health and Tourette's syndrome.

Ahead of his 2023 Glastonbury Festival appearance, he announced on Instagram the cancelation of his scheduled shows due to his "struggles" before the release of his second studio album, "Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent."

Despite taking a short break to rest and recover, the 26-year-old singer announced his mental health break after his recent Glastonbury performance.

Before his recent announcement, Capaldi had already worried his fans after he had episodes of Tourette's syndrome and mental-health-related issues at his shows.

For instance, he experienced a series of tics while performing during his Frankfurt, Germany, show in February. Capaldi was singing his hit song, "Someone You Loved," when he suddenly stopped at the bridge due to tics.

His fans did not let him down as they continued singing with him until he was able to sing on his own again, leaving the public extremely emotional due to the gesture.

Capaldi became more open about his current struggles in the recently-released Netflix film, "Lewis Capaldi: How I'm Feeling Now," during which he shared his ups and downs and his most vulnerable moments, from his mental health struggles to coping with the effects of his Tourette's diagnosis.

The singer also shocked fans when he revealed he has issues with imposter syndrome and anxiety, and he touched on those issues in an interview with The Times in April.
