Pop Icon Madonna is postponing her "Celebration" Tour as she was rushed to the hospital after being found unresponsive at her New York home. The trip to the hospital happened last Saturday, Jun. 24, 2023.

Madonna is due to start her "Celebration" Tour on Jul. 15, 2023, at the Rodgers Arena in Vancouver, Canada. Her concert will be opened by Bob the Drag Queen for the entirety of the North American Tours and the European Leg.

Page Six exclusively revealed that Madonna's health emergency happened last Saturday, Jun. 24, 2023. Per the source, her eldest daughter, Lourdes Leon was by her side throughout the whole worrying incident.

The ordeal was quite serious as the outlet also reported that the 64-year-old Madonna was "intubated" at one point but it was already removed after a day. Madonna is now out of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as per sources.

She is now alert but still needs to recover for a while. As of this writing, it is not yet revealed how many days or weeks will the singer need to recuperate before returning to rehearsals for her upcoming "Celebration" Tour.

Madonna's manager Guy Oseary shared the news on Instagram via a post.

"Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several-day stay in the ICU," he confirmed.

According to Oseary, Madonna's health is "improving" but she is still under medical care as a "full recovery" is expected.

As for her "Celebration" Tour, Oseary had this to say: "At this time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour. We will share more details with you as soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and for rescheduled shows."

Madonna 'Celebration' Tour 2023

Before it was officially announced that the "Celebration" Tour will be postponed, it was slated that the "Like A Virgin" singer will be kicking off her highly-anticipated tour at the Rodgers Arena in Vancouver, Canada.

She will then sell out a few arenas in the Midwest before returning to Canada for four days in Montreal and Toronto. Madonna will also have a four-day Madison Square Garden concert and a three-day Crypto.com residency in the latter part of her tour.

Madonna will end her concert at a two-day show in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena.
