Zayn Malik has been keeping his fans on the edge for the past couple of months; they are certain new music is coming, but no one knows when-until now.

Malik took to his social media platforms to share a not-so-cryptic teaser of his new single called "Love Like This," which is slated to release on July 21.

The singer shared a short clip of himself spraypainting the song's title along with the release date, all while a snippet of the song is playing in the background.

The snippet does not offer a lot for fans to work with, but some of the lyrics go like this " Your direction is on my mind," which is perhaps a sneaky nod to his former boy band days.

In fact, even his former member Liam Payne commented on the snippet to show his support, "This sounds big already."

Zayn Malik's Comeback

The highly anticipated single will most likely come from Malik's next album, but he has kept much information about the new album close to his chest.

The last time the former One Direction star released new material was back in 2021 with "Nobody is Listening," and before that, it was "Icarus Falls" in 2018, and his debut in 2016, "Mind of Mine."

As of this writing, there is still no word on whether the next album will be released within the year or perhaps the next, but fans do not seem to mind.

Zayn Malik Enlists Ryan Tedder for New Album

Fans are eagerly waiting for updates from Malik's next project, so when a famed artist slash producer came forward with new information regarding the album, fans were delighted.

During his interview with "Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp", Ryan Tedder divulged some big news about the "Pillow Talk" singer's upcoming music.

"I guess the cat's out of the bag but I've been working with Zayn a bunch for the past eight months as well," shared the One Republic singer.

Fans already know that whatever is in store will be a banger, after all, Tedder has worked on several iconic songs for several other successful artists like Beyonce's "Halo" and Adele's "Rumor Has It."
