Jimmie Allen insisted on countersuing the women who accused him of sexual assault, as it is beginning to ruin different aspects of his life-including his marriage.

According to reports, Allen was accused of sexual assault by two women all while he was married to his wife Alexis.

"Throughout the relationship, sexual encounters were initiated by both Allen and Doe," the singer's countersuit reads. "The relationship continued until the fall of 2022 when Allen ended the relationship to focus on repairing his relationship with his wife."

Despite his best efforts to mend his relationship with Alexis, they are now currently going through a divorce, but Allen is hopeful that their marriage might not end up in flames.

"The divorce case is still pending, as my wife and I are working to resolve things together as a family," he said.

Jimmie Allen Hit With Sexual Assault Lawsuits

According to Variety, the sexual assault lawsuits against Allen came to light in May of this year, but the incidents have been going on long before then.

One of the women who came forward, who did not wish to be identified, claimed that the singer raped and sexually abused her for a span of 18 months, while she was employed by him.

"I was disconnected from my body, feeling a sense of panic," the woman said of the incident. "He held me in place. At that point, any physical will was just out the door. I was pretty much paralyzed."

Following the report, Allen issued a statement saying: "As a result of numerous false allegations, I have engaged with a legal team to proceed with an appropriate course of action to protect my reputation and refute these claims that have caused severe damage to my family, mental health, and business."

He also added, "I've taken a couple months before publicly responding to these claims because I wanted to fix my family first."

Jimmie Allen Under Fire for Sexual Assault Allegations

Netizens began to denounce Allen and they trashed him on social media following his initial statement.

What I meant by 'fixing my family first,' was making sure their mental health and stability are OK in light of these hurtful, false allegations," the singer said after the backlash.

"I took some time off to be with my wife, kids, and friends, to ensure everyone was OK."

Allen has since filed a countersuit against the women for damages, claiming that "the situation has caused [him] great humiliation."
