Fans were shocked to find out that Ariana Grande and her husband Dalton Gomez are breaking up and heading for divorce after two years of marriage.

However, not everyone was willing to believe the news, citing that it was reported by TMZ, and that the news source could not be easily trusted.

If everyone had doubts in their minds about it, then they should probably be convinced now because Grande just scrubbed her Instagram clean of her wedding pictures with the real estate agent.

According to reports, a series of pictures from the "Thank U Next" singer's secret, intimate wedding, captioned "5.15.21," with a white heart were nowhere to be found.

On top of that, several other pictures of Grande with Gomez were gone, including one from November last year, where they were seen grinning side by side along with pictures of Halloween ornaments and Grande in a studio.

Ariana Grande, Dalton Gomez Breaks Up, Heading towards Divorce

According to TMZ's source, the former couple is still on good terms, but their relationship has significantly downgraded from man and wife to friends who talk on the phone.

"We're told they remain friends and still talk on the phone regularly, but, according to sources, the marriage is kaput," the source revealed.

A different source told Us Magazine: "They were having issues before she left for Wicked filming [in London] that they couldn't resolve, and the distance did not help. They haven't been speaking and are separated, and a divorce is likely."

Although reports say that the split was because of the "7 Rings" singer's fame and popularity, fans suspect that there might be more to the story.

Ariana Grande 'Fears' Husband Dalton Gomez?

Some eagle-eyed fans noticed that Grande had liked an Instagram post that reads "never again will I be in a relationship with someone I fear."

Although nothing is confirmed yet, especially about who exactly is the person Grande "fears," many suspect that it might be Gomez.

Another fan shared a screenshot of an Instagram post also liked by the singer; it reads, "Imagine how different the world would be if little girls were taught to set boundaries as often as they were taught to be polite."

"This is making my heart ache for her. I hope she can get to a place where she's happy and comfortable in her life and her job," a fan wrote.

"I hope she's okay," another added.

On the other hand, several other fans denounce the alleged screenshot, and note that Grande could easily be referring to a different, previous relationship.
