Are Jessica Simpson's finances also failing after her Jessica Simpson Style brand's bankruptcy and now-ended marriage to Nick Lachey?

Simpson sparked another rumor regarding her reported financial troubles following the issues she dealt with in her life. The singer, who once had a billion-dollar empire, is said to be adjusting her lifestyle "to save the savable" amid her massive debt.

Jessica Simpson's Spending Habits Cause Her "Financial Crunch"

In her interview for the July 6 issue of Bustle, Simpson spoke about several things about her life, including the "power of being vulnerable, motherhood, and buying herself back."

As cited by The Nerd Stash, the "I Wanna Love You Forever" hitmaker revealed she bought garbage cats at HomeGoods, and she spoke about it while reportedly dealing with financial insecurity after spending $65 million to win back her name from bankrupt Sequential Brands Group Inc.

In Touch Weekly also quoted one part in the same interview, during which Simpson admitted she might have to sell her gold rings and bracelet. Following the interview, a source told In Touch that the singer is down and out amid a major financial crunch.

"She's feeling a major financial crunch, which is a huge 180 from her old life, where finances were never a concern, and she bought the best of everything," the insider said.

The source, however, noted that the "When You Told Me You Loved Me" singer started making big lifestyle changes in pursuit of preventing herself from reportedly going into massive debt. The unnamed insider added that she would continue to go broke if the singer would not get her spending in check, especially once her decision to buy back her company backfires.

The claims about Simpson's financial disaster should be taken with a grain of salt as she has not directly opened up about the aforesaid problems with finances. In addition, her net worth remains at a whopping mark despite her previous struggles.

Jessica Simpson's Net Worth 2023

Amid the rumors, Celebrity Net Worth estimates Jessica Simpson's net worth at around $200 million as of press time.

The "I Think I'm In Love With You" crooner's finances come from her work as an actress, singer, and retail entrepreneur, with the latter earning billions in gross sales since she launched it. Currently, she has a number of lines of beauty products and other items made available on the Home Shopping Network.
