Why Sinead O'Connor Moved to London Revealed

Before her death, O'Connor moved to the penthouse flat - where she was found dead - from Ireland in the hopes of feeling less lonely.

In her final days, the other residents of the block noticed how she often looked down for long periods from her large balcony. They also said that the singer left her lights on and her doors and windows open every day.

Other eyewitnesses said O'Connor also smoked outside the main entrance and talked to several residents as he battled loneliness and grief after her son, Shane, died in 2022.

Before her death, the singer sparked concerns when she attempted suicide several times amid her personal struggles with borderline personality disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and bipolar disorder.

She also posted worrying posts online days before her death, including a since-deleted post on July 17 in which she herself a person "living as undead night creature" after her child's death.
