Fans are over the moon after Britney Spears teased an exciting new collaboration with none other than former One Direction star Zayn Malik.

The Princess of Pop took to Instagram, posting a snap of the 30-year-old musician playing a red piano and wearing a matching colored hat. Her caption read: "I've never played on RED!!!"

This came on the heels of the success of her new song and collaboration with Will.I.Am.

Although the prospect of a collaboration had many admirers abuzz, they were unable to express their enthusiasm as Britney Spears disabled the comment feature on her post.

Previously she had announced she was working on another "mini-project" through her Instagram Stories.

With much anticipation of what's to come, fans were thrilled when they saw a post that seemed to give them a glimpse into what was in store next for this star.

She recently collaborated with Will.i.am from the famous hip-hop group Black Eyed Peas and judged on the musical competition show "The Voice."

To reflect her excitement at this new venture, she wrote on her Instagram: "Whose readyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!

The upload contained three stories, each of which included lines from a poem that may be about the 13 years of conservatorship. Although there was not any sound, it stirred interest among her fans.

The lyrics go, "In the middle or did you get 'em?/The thieves are little/They serve little skittles/The pain no walk/We say when you talk."

Britney Spears Memoir

Britney Spears tell-all memoir has been highly anticipated, but its release date had to be delayed for a few months.

Allegedly, Justin Timberlake and Colin Farrell could have possibly taken legal action against her due to the content of the book that includes stories about them both.

Given the gravity of the situation, it appears that the "Toxic" hitmaker was forced to make a tough decision concerning what she would do with these statements.

Although details remain unclear, it was obvious that both Justin and Will's teams were wary of whatever was said in the claims.

Consequently, unless Britney removed those remarks, legal action would be taken against her.

A source close to the situation recently informed The Sun that both Justin Timberlake and Colin Farrell's lawyers demanded to see the book before its release. According to the anonymous insider, certain elements had to be left out due to what the two celebrities wanted to be kept a secret.

Despite this, there are still plenty of jaw-dropping stories included in this publication.

Finally, after some negotiation between the two parties, a successful resolution has been reached about what will be featured in her memoir.

The source reported that both are now in agreement and "her memoir is all ready to go." Fortunately, any tensions have long since dissipated.
