BLACKPINK Jisoo DATING Actor Ahn Bohyun: Who is He, How Did They Meet? [DETAILS]

BLACKPINK fans are having the time of their life right now; not only have the KPOP girl group reached an agreement regarding their contract with YG Entertainment, but fans are also rejoicing that Jisoo is finally confirmed to be dating someone.

According to reports, Jisoo is dating South Korean actor Ahn Bohyun after being seen together in Seoul.

Ahn's reps confirmed the news, saying, "The two are in a stage where they are getting to know each other slowly with good feelings. We would appreciate [it] if you could watch the couple with a warm gaze."

Not a lot is known about the couple's relationship as they have kept much of it under wraps, perhaps in fear of receiving backlash from South Korean fans.

The KPOP and KDRAMA industry is notorious for holding their stars back from publicly dating because of the fans' negative reactions.

Recent years have seen more relationships being confirmed among idols and actors, but the news is still sometimes met with hostility.

Who is BLACKPINK Jisoo Dating?

According to reports, Ahn is 35 years old, and is best known for his roles in "Descendants of the Sun" released in 2016, "Itaewon Class" released in 2020, "Yumi's Cells" released in 2021, and "My Name" released in 2021.

Before becoming an actor, he participated in amateur boxing, where he won several awards.

According to reports, despite both of their busy schedules, especially Jisoo's, who is currently on a world tour with BLACKPINK, the couple is making it work long distance, and spending quality time together.

BLACKPINK Fans Are Thrilled for Jisoo

According to reports, a South Korean news outlet broke the news of the pair dating when they spotted Ahn leaving Jisoo's apartment in Yongsan.

They claim that he would occasionally drive her home, and they have been dating since May of this year.

Unlike some of the South Korean fans' negative reactions toward the news of Jisoo dating, international fans are thrilled.

Fans have begun digging up some old pictures and videos of Ahn, and pointed out how much of a gentleman he is and how great a boyfriend he must be for the KPOP idol.

"This is how Ahn Bo-hyun treats his mom. Our Jisoo is in good hands," a fan wrote.

"And the hottest couple award goes to, Ahn Bohyun and Kim Jisoo​​."
