In a shocking development, R&B performer and former B2K member Raz-B has been hooked up to life support systems at a hospital in China, and is reportedly in a comatose state

Raz-B was hospitalized on Thursday after trying to break up a fight at a nightclub where he was performing. He was struck in the face by a glass bottle and required minor surgery for a laceration on his lip. Afterwards, the vocalist left the hospital, seemingly alright.

"F--k this sh-- hurts," Raz-B told TMZ in a statement at the time. "I have a f---ing hole in my lip. Thank God I made it to the hospital."

However on Friday the performer didn't wake up and a backup dancer took him to the hospital. Doctors began running tests for brain activity, and he is listed as being in "serious" condition. Sources indicate that he is breathing through a ventilator and is lapsing in and out of consciousness.

"He is in a coma and needs as many prayers as possible," his representative told TMZ.

Raz-B has been touring in China for several years as he continues work on his debut solo album. He had a equally as frightening accident in 2012 when he fell through a glass door at a hotel in Shanghai. That incident left him with nerve, tendon and ligament damage, as well as exposing bone. His wrist was repairs after five hours of surgery.

Raz-B came to fame as a member of the R&B group B2K, but the group's last album was the soundtrack to the film "You Got Served," which they also starred in.
