Saoirse earned Sinead's respect after seeing her portrayal of an Irish migrant in the 2015 film "Brooklyn."

Inspired by the Catholic Church's venerated trinity, Sinead O'Connor first envisioned a movie with a triptych-style structure featuring three different actresses. This was to be a satirical reference to the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

Observing Sinead, one could sense her enthusiasm for the biopic and that she had pondered carefully upon the script, per the source.

Sinead O'Connor's Final Recorded Song Before Death

Sinéad O'Connor's last recorded song was chosen as "Outlander's" season finale theme in a bittersweet farewell.

This melancholy tune was born from her tragedy and was a lasting reminder of her legacy.

According to Metro UK, Maril Davis, executive producer of the show, was asked about the collaboration with Sinead, in which she created a new take on the traditional Scottish tune, "The Skye Boat Song," for each season of the show, she was taken aback by Sinead's agreement to do it.

Discussing how this came to be, Davis commented on her surprise at signing the chart-topper.

In contrast to the earlier recordings, the production team on season seven had a vision of shifting the musical soundscape. Consequently, Raya Yarbrough's vocals were absent in this new timeline.

Realizing the connection between composer Bear McCreary and Sinead, they knew she was ideal for the job. Maril commented that Sinead O'Connor fully embodied the spirit of that era.
