Just weeks after submitting a petition, Ricky Martin is trying to hurry up proceedings concerning his divorce from his husband, Jwan Yosef.

Documents have been delivered to the court, revealing the "Livin La Vida Loca" singer's income-expense accounts and an inventory of his assets and debts, per Radar Online.

Just last month, Ricky and his spouse revealed that they had decided to end their relationship after six years of marriage.

Since then, one of the preliminary steps necessary for them to begin a divorce process was for Ricky to give his former partner a register of the community and separate property.

The couple declared that after much consideration, they were concluding their marriage with the utmost respect and care for their children.

The statement said, "Our greatest desire now is to continue having a healthy family dynamic and a relationship centered on peace and friendship to continue the joint upbringing of our children, preserving the respect and love we have for each other."

Ricky and Jwan tied the knot in 2018 after first meeting on Instagram in 2015.

Before this union, Ricky was already a father of twin sons, Matteo and Valentino; together, they share two children, Lucia, their daughter, and Renn, their son. Their relationship became public in 2016, soon followed by an engagement.

Ricky's filing for divorce included a claim of "irreconcilable differences," and he requested joint custody of the children.

Furthermore, it was shared that a prenuptial agreement had been signed before their marriage, which included the singer covering the legal costs associated with the split.

Regarding individual and shared assets, Ricky mentioned, "Petitioner is still trying to understand the extent and make-up of the separate property for each party as per their Premarital Agreement. Petitioner holds the right to modify or adapt this Petition based on evidence."
