It has been quite some time since Guns N' Roses dropped a new song out of nowhere, but it seems like the band had a spike of inspiration in the spirit of collaboration.

According to reports, Guns N' Roses just released a new song titled "Perhaps," and it was written by frontman Axl Rose, guitarist Slash, and bassist Duff McKagan.

The press release notes that the new song is the trio's "first collective new composition and recording together in 30 years since 1993's The Spaghetti Incident?"

Guns N' Roses Upcoming Music

Apparently, the band has been in the music recording studio for quite some time now, working on new material.

According to reports, Guns N' Roses' stage technician Tom Mayhue revealed that the band has been working on new music. "I know that the band's gonna start working on new music, they've got a bunch of stuff recorded already.

"So there will be new Guns N' Roses music very soon. In fact, I think they're trying to get a single out any day now, so you may hear something very, very soon."

As of this writing, they have not announced whether they plan to drop a new album in the near future, but given that they just released a single, that might be in the cards soon.

Guns N' Roses Leaked Song

According to reports, "Perhaps" is not exactly something fans have not heard before. It is reportedly similar to leaked song that was uploaded on the Internet several years back.

Despite that, fans are glad that the song is now finally officially released, and they no longer have to scour the Internet for the same snippets over and over again.

The new song is the third song the band has released since their reunion in 2016. In 2021, they dropped "Absurd" and "Hard Skool."

Guns N' Roses was formed in 1985 and rose to prominence as a heavy rock and heavy metal band. It consists of the following members: Rose, Slash, McKagan, Dizzyreed, Richard Fortus, Frank Ferrer, and Melissa Reese.

They released the chart-topping hits "Sweet Child O' Mine," "Welcome to the Jungle," and "Paradise City."

They disbanded for many years following a rift that was formed between Rose and Slah, but they eventually reunited and made up.
