Azealia Banks and Nicki Minaj aren't exactly the best of friends and peers as the former have openly criticized and slammed her before.

However, the air seemed to have shifted as she now expresses love and excitement for Minaj's upcoming new era.

Azealia Banks, Nicki Minaj Feud Over?

Last week, Nicki Minaj shared a photo and a video of her in the studio, teasing the lead single of "Pink Friday 2" - "Last Time I Saw You" - and its upcoming release.

In the same regard, Azealia Banks, who has been openly critical of Minaj, shared a photo shared by one of Nicki Minaj's Instagram fan pages of the same still.

On her Instagram Stories, Banks shared her thoughts about Nicki Minaj's new look - which were surprisingly positive.

"Like I would never even think you'd like something like this. THIS IS THE BEST LOOK I'VE EVER SEEN U IN. EVRRRRRRRRRR OKAY?" Banks proclaimed. "It's soft, it's delicate, it's kinda North African vibes, it's Bohemian, your facial expression is so relaxed, and radiant, and this BODY?!"

Banks also said that she had never seen Minaj so "comfortable" in her own skin, gushing about how sensual the photo was.

She also went on to say that if Nicki Minaj has some "cute lil Russian twists" it's "over, like so so over."

"I always thought you were pretty but this is RADIANT BEAUTY & GLAMOUR right here," she said. "Nah for real sis. I'm not even tryin to shade you..but you have never ever looked this chic, stylish, sexy, at ease."

The switch was quite unusual for many, especially Minaj's fans, the Barbz, who seemed to be skeptical on Banks' kind words.

"Next week she gone be dissing her she definitely need to pick a side," a fan said.

"Just wait till the song comes out, she will be dissing it," another pointed out.

Just last month, Banks slammed Minaj for her "trash" collaborations. (via Koimoi)

"Ugh Nicki PLEASE stop doing these trash collabs. Ice spice highkey ate you in your own space. The original of Princess Diana is better too," she told Minaj, referring to her collaboration "Barbie World," with Ice Spice. "Desperation and defeat is not a good look on you. Please realize that the game being played against you is bigger than whatever flavor of the moment Girl hits the scene. Please stop trying to out hoodrat these new girls and get back to boxing these white pop stars out."

"Barbie World" remains the highest-charting single of the "Barbie" Soundtrack," peaking at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100.
