Azealia Banks is throwing Nicki Minaj and all her recent collab songs shade, and some fans agree.

Following the massive success of the "Barbie" movie as well as its star-studded soundtrack, which features Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice's collab song "Barbie World," Banks has weighed in on what she thinks about the song.

"I really wish she went full Euro trash for the Aqua Girl track," Banks began in her lengthy, scathing Instagram Story. "We love Ice Spice but this should have been the return of the queen of f**king bubblegum pop."

She went on to also diss Charli XCX, noting that "she's just too boring and brunette to actually pull it off."

Banks lamented on how the song was supposed to be "Nicki's moment," but the "Super Freaky Girl" rapper fumbled with the ball.

"But sis really doesn't understand that she's gonna have to continuously be forced to acknowledge new rap girls and be used as a marketing pawn until she separate [sic] a fully [sic] from any and all."

Azealia Banks Clocks Nicki Minaj's Boyfriend

Banks went on to call Minaj's collabs "lame" and "trash," which she alleged was spurred on due to the "Super Bass" rapper's relationship with a "sex offender."

"[...] ugh, Nicki please stop doing these trash collabs. Ice Spice highkey are you in your own space. The original 'Princess Diana' is better too. Desperation and defeat is not a good look on you."

While some fans agree with the rapper's sentiments, many still think that Banks does not really know what she's talking about.

"We don't care what Azealia Banks have to say in 2023, we barely cared in 2012," a netizen wrote.

"For someone who doesn't have a successful career, she sure gives advice how to have one."

Azealia Banks 'Flopped' Career?

According to reports, Banks has not released any new material in almost a decade.

She has insisted, however, that she is successful in her own right, and does not have to prove herself through statistics and charts, but through "scheduling smiles and crafting some weird character."

This is also not the first time Banks has come for Minaj. In a another occasion, the rapper compared the "Starship" rapper with Cardi B, and decided that the latter is more bankable, funnier, and more successful.
