FIFTY FIFTY is best known for their hit songs "Cupid" as well as "Barbie Dreams" which was included in the "Barbie" movie official soundtrack.

Despite their massive success with a few songs under their belt, the KPOP girl group was recently embroiled in controversy after they filed a lawsuit against their record label and entertainment agency ATTRAKT.

All four members of the FIFTY FIFTY-Aran, Sio, Saena, and Keena-sued their company's CEO, Hong Joon Jun, over the profits of their song "Cupid" as well as to terminate their contract with ATTRAKT.

According to reports, the Seoul Central District Court dismissed FIFTY FIFTY's request for induction to suspect their contract, noting that it was difficult to conclude whether there was really a violation of the contract over providing financial statements.

FIFTY FIFTY Wants to End Contract with ATTRAKT

Although the KPOP girl group was met with a roadblock, their legal representatives are determined to see the case through and get results in favor of the singers.

Barun law firm, which represents the members, immediately submitted an application for resumption of the interrogation, which was also denied.

"There is a lot of evidence of tampering," said the ATTRAKT CEO. "In the future, we plan to focus on criminal complaints against The Givers CEO Ahn Seong Il and Director Baek."

The controversy began with FIFTY FIFTY's record label accusing them of wanting to terminate their contract to move to a different company, which the members denied.

They claim that the legal move was due to the company CEO's misuse of the group's profits and other financial-related concerns.
