Jimmy Buffett's last video before his death captured the singer looking tired and exhausted, sparking concerns about what his final days looked and felt like.

The late singer's representative revealed on Saturday, September 2, that the music icon died on Friday through a statement on his website and social media statements. It did not provide his cause of death, but reports said he was dealing with cancer at the time of his passing.

Amid his private battle against the dreaded illness, the singer seemingly showed signs of deteriorating health in the months leading to his death.

Jimmy Buffett 'Exhausted' in Last Video Before Death

A video taken at one of his last concerts captured Buffett looking tired and exhausted while performing in front of his fans.

The show in question happened on March 11 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, with Buffett standing at the microphone singing and looking uneasy while performing his hit songs. Fans also noted that, unlike his usual shows, he did not walk around the stage and interact with the fans.

In the months prior to his death, he canceled shows due to an undisclosed illness. It started in September 2022 when he was advised to get admitted after having a check-up at a medical facility.

"I had to stop in Boston for a check-up but wound up back in the hospital to address some issues that needed immediate attention," he said in a statement on his website. "Growing old is not for sissies, I promise you. Thank you for your prayers and thoughts, your amazing years of loyalty, and just remember, 'NOT YET!'"

He postponed more shows in the months thereafter but finally made his first appearance during Mac McAnally's concert in July.

Buffett is survived by his wife, Jane Slagsvol, and their three children Cameron, Sarah and Savannah.
