The Weeknd fans from Australia and New Zealand are in a frenzy; the "Die For You" singer just announced that there will be additional shows in the aforementioned countries due to "unprecedented demand."

The Weeknd was supposed to have four shows in total for his highly anticipated "After Hours Til Dawn" tour in Australia and New Zealand; however, after fans rallied for additional dates, the singer finally relented.

The "Save Your Tears" singer added several more dates to his tour, making it a total of 10 shows across the four major cities in the two countries: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Auckland.

According to reports, The Weeknd will be performing three shows in Accor Stadium in Sydney as well As Marvel Arena in Melbourne; the "Starboy" singer will have two shows in Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane.

For his shows in New Zealand, the singer will play twice at Eden Park in Auckland.

The Weeknd 'After Hours Til Dawn' Tour

The Weeknd's highly anticipated and successful "After Hours Til Dawn" tour was previously called "The After Hours" Tour; it is the Canadian singer's seventh concert tour in support of his fourth and fifth studio albums, "After Hours," released in 2020, and "Dawn FM," released in 2022.

Fans cannot get enough of the singer and demand to have more shows, after all, the last time he was on tour was in 2018 for "The Weeknd Asia" Tour, which based on the name, was a tour only in Asia. It included shows in Hong Kong, Bangkok, Kallang, Bali, Seoul, and Chiba.

This time around, though, The Weeknd made sure to include fans from North America, Europe, and Latin America.

The Weeknd's 'Unprecedented Demand'

According to reports, the additional shows of the "After Hours Til Dawn" tour will still include the special guests, Mike Dean and Chxrry22.

The Weeknd just recently wrapped up his tour in Europe. About 16,000 people attended his show in London Stadium across two nights, which broke a record.

The same groundbreaking numbers have been witnessed for his other shows in Paris, Nice, Milan, and more.

Ticket sales from the North American leg of his tour will also be donated to the World Food Program to assist the most food-insecure regions of Ethiopia.
