To protect her son, Cher drastically kidnapped Elijah Blue Allman from a hotel room on his wedding anniversary.

According to the Daily Mail, Marieangela King, the star's daughter-in-law, provided evidence at a Los Angeles court in documents for the couple's divorce hearing. The multi-award winner was concerned about her son's well-being.

Given her worries, it is no wonder that she would be alarmed by the images we have obtained that depict him in a chaotic state at LA's iconic Chateau Marmont Hotel, where he has been residing for half a year.

According to a witness, "At first, he looked dead, but he had passed out. The staff picked him up and took him inside."

Elijah's father is Gregg Allman, a late rock great who married his beloved mother in her second union. Back in 2013, he said "I do" to Marieangela (known as Queenie).

From her youth, Marieangela has struggled with heroin addiction, having started taking drugs at the tender age of 11. Born in Mumbai to a British father and German mother, she spent her childhood flitting between countries - no fewer than 30 - and is one of six siblings in the band KING.

Marieangela submitted a statement to the court detailing how she and Elijah had gone to New York for 12 days intending to save their marriage.

Marieangela wrote, "With enough time, I am inevitable reconciliation is possible."

Nonetheless, they were not granted that opportunity, as something interrupted their efforts.

"I was told by one of the four men who took him that (Elijah's) mother hired them."

Four days after she suspected her husband of being kidnapped, she submitted a declaration expressing her worries.

She wrote that she had no knowledge of his whereabouts or well-being but knew he was locked up at a concealed treatment facility. Concluding the statement, she commended his family's desire to ensure he was alright and wished him only the best.

After a turbulent experience living at the iconic Chateau Marmont, known for its association with Animal House's John Belushi, who tragically passed away due to a drug overdose there in 1982, Elias has returned to rehab.

Hotel personnel continually expressed their concerns to Elijah about his disheveled appearance, which indicated drug use.

A witness revealed, "Almost every day, I could see Elijah in front of the hotel's entrance, either pressed against the wall or sitting on the curb enjoying a cigarette."
