Since 2019, Ed Sheeran's empire has seen a staggering £89 million in revenue; this amount does not include proceeds from his most recent tour.

As a result, the 32-year-old singer-songwriter has given himself a £10 million ($12188290 USD) pay increase as his music empire expands, according to The Mirror.

Autumn Variations, Sheeran's seventh studio album, was released on September 29.

Sheeran made £18.3 million in 2022, an increase of £8.4 million from the previous year. According to recent data, the Photograph singer has earned an incredible £89 million since 2019. However, the total does not include the sales from his sixth album Subtract or his most recent release, Autumn Variations, nor the nearly half of the ninety dates of his sold-out world tour in 2022 and 2023. "Ed is going from strength to strength," a source disclosed.

These figures confirm that he is among the planet's biggest stars. The £52 million in money held by Ed Sheeran Ltd were revealed in annual records filed to Companies House. The company generated revenues of £23.6 million in 2022, £34.1 million in 2021, and £31.6 million in 2019. The Bad Habits singer made £65 million in profit throughout those years, with the majority of that amount coming from the release of his album Equals in 2021.

According to the data, he will also pay £3.1 million in company tax on top of a sizeable donation to charitable organizations, which includes £1 million invested in music education for children.

The artist remarked, "I place more importance on my friends and family being okay."

This news comes after a report of him hinting at some marriage troubles.

It's been stated that in the lyrics of his most recent album, Ed Sheeran alluded to marital problems with his wife Cherry Seaborn. Their relationship may have been in trouble at one point, as suggested by the singer's latest album Autumn Variations, which was published on Friday. One song even suggests that his wife "may have called time on their relationship."

The song is specifically called Punchline, which sees Sheeran crooning about a failing romance. He used the song to promote his seventh album while walking the streets of New York.

It follows criticism that was split on the former busker's latest album, Autumn Variations.

Just four months after Subtract, which took a brutal look at his loss and depression following his wife's health issues and the passing of his buddy Jamal Edwards, the Perfect singer released his eighth album on Friday.

Though Ed has previously stated that the album is about both his and his friend's lives, it is unknown which tracks are based on his personal experiences. Autumn Variations received two stars from Rachel Aroesti of The Guardian, who concluded that the album's 'plodding, genre-hopping songs all end up as unimaginative ballads' and that'most songs eventually end up in the same realm: that of a bland, plodding vaguely sentimental ballad boasting at least one instantly memorable hook.'
