Kylie Minogue might be in the music industry for decades, but it seems like she's at the peak of her career again, thanks to her latest album that became massively successful not just in her home country of Australia, but also in the United States.

According to People Magazine, the "Padam Padam" hitmaker's new record "Tension" became her highest-charting on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart since 2010. It took her 13 years before amassing this type of success again and it appears that she's loving every moment of it.

The musician recently attended an event at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, California, earlier this week, where she opened up about the resurgence of her fame and success.

"To have this moment where it feels like it was meant to be, but it wasn't something that I was aiming for, feels so refreshing and amazing to, once again, like in the '80s, have this multigenerational moment," she told Keith Caufield, a reporter from Billboard.

The singer then noted that the success she's amassing is "truly beautiful and heartwarming."

Kylie Minogue's 'Padam Padam' Takes Over Social Media

Elsewhere in the interview, the singer also opened up about the surprising success of her song "Padam" which became massively viral on social media as it was used in almost every TikTok video around.

Initially, Minogue was hesitant to try TikTok herself, but once she saw how successful it was, she "finally get it" and it was good for her.

Once it was used in thousands of videos, the singer's reaction was: "None of us could even consider that, so it was such a nice surprise."

Now that her hit song became successful as well as her album, she noted that both of those achievements were just a bonus because she felt fulfilled and challenged while she was making the record.

"I'm super, super grateful, and I'm enjoying this ride very, very much, so thank you," she added.

Is Kylie Minogue Going on Tour?

Although the singer has not announced a tour yet, it appears that the musician would have a series of concerts soon as she told in a previous interview that she misses being on the road.

The last time the musician went on a tour was in 2019. At the time, she had just released her album "Step Back in Time: The Definitive Collection."

Minogue was able to drop an album in 2020 titled "Disco" but she wasn't able to go on tour due to the pandemic.

In the mean time, the singer is now focusing on her Las Vegas residency as she's set to perform on a series of scheduled concerts at the Voltaire at the Venetian Resort in Sin City.
