Julia Fox's new memoir "Down the Drain" will divulge more about her very brief relationship with Kanye West following his divorce from Kim Kardashian, and it was not glamorous.

According to People Magazine, as per the "Uncut Gems" actress, the relationship began positively, as she thought that they "could be something real," but her initial thoughts were dashed when it became clear to her what West's intentions really were.

"I really understood him on a visceral level," she recalled about the past relationship and added that she, "thought ultimately [she would] be helping a precarious situation," the situation referring to the rapper's recent divorce with the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star.

"But I learned very quickly that I was being weaponized. I just felt like his little puppet," Fox added.

Kanye West, Julia Fox's 'Relationship'

Fox discussed being asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), which she turned down.

"I'm not signing a f***ing NDA just on principle. I never have, and I never will," Fox told the Los Angeles Times. "Unless it's a professional opportunity, then sure."

And just like any other relationship, Fox explained how it was not really a "big deal," but rather people "made it such a big deal."

"I know for a fact I've been up for certain things and couldn't do it because of dating Kanye," she added. "It's kind of wild."

This is not the first time Fox has spoken about dating West. In November 2022, she explained that she only dated him to "distract" him from Kardashian and "get him off [her] case."

Julia Fox Talks About Kanye West

The actress had to defend herself and her choice of going out with West because shortly after their break up, he began sharing his opinions about antisemitism, which caused many companies and individuals to drop him from their circles.

"First of all, the man was being normal around me," Fox said. "By the time me and him got together, it was like he hadn't been doing anything 'out there' yet."

If anything, Fox explained that she saw West as some kind of project, which she was determined to fix.

"I was like, 'Oh my God, maybe I can get him off of Kim's case. Maybe I can distract him and just get him to like me.' And I knew if anyone can do it it's me.

"And I knew if anyone can do it it's me, because when I set my mind to something I do it. And I will say, that month that we spent together, he wasn't on Twitter, first of all; he wasn't on any forms of social media."
