Dua Lipa is one of the biggest pop stars that has ever come from the United Kingdom. Her arrival in the music scene has changed the way the general public perceives British Pop, which has been dominated by bands and male acts for quite a while.

With the success of "Future Nostalgia," Dua Lipa is highly expected to deliver a banger of an album to follow it - and she seemed to be teasing it recently through cryptic social media changes.

Dua Lipa Changes Her YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music Thumbnails

If you inspect Dua Lipa's streaming platform accounts, specifically YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Music, you will see that she changed the photos and the thumbnails to somewhat of a kaleidoscopic image.

Her YouTube music video thumbnails were changed, the cover art of her albums was also switched, and even her profile photos and banners were of the same kaleidoscopic version of their original ones.

It is quite common for music artists to do this trend of overhauling their social media accounts as they tease that a new era is coming. (via Just Jared)

To put the cherry on top, Dua Lipa, who always posts photos of herself on vacation in various spots around the globe, wiped her Instagram account too and changed her profile photo to a kaleidoscope image - a rather telling indication that she might actually release new information about her new album.

Dua Lipa New Album 2023

Dua Lipa's new album has been teased quite sparingly by outlets and publications in the past few months.

According to a The New York Times article, Dua Lipa's next record will still be in the pop genre, but it will cause her fans to have a "meltdown."

"She doesn't want to 'alienate' them, although she's developing a new sound that may be informed less by the house and disco beats beneath songs like 'Physical' and 'Hallucinate' than by 1970s-era psychedelia," the publication teased of the Dua Lipa new album releasing in 2024.

Explaining more about her new song for the Dua Lipa new album, the Grammy-winning singer had this to say:

"It has a lyrical theme, more so than sonic. It's still pop so I'm not getting away from that. I still want to dance and have fun, and do another crazy tour. It's like a bit more mature in some ways. If I told you the title, everything would make sense - but I think we'll just have to wait."
