The hotly-anticipated memoir "The Woman in Me" will hit the bookshelves starting October 24. According to the press release, it is "a brave and astonishingly moving story about power, celebrity, motherhood, survival, faith, and hope."

Justin Timberlake In Trouble Once Britney Spears Drops Her Memoir?

A source exclusively told Us Weekly that Spears goes after Timberlake hard in her first memoir, so the male singer will not be happy once it has been released.

The insider did not detail what fans can expect to read from the book, but the world had a glimpse of what happened to the former couple in the 2021 documentary "Framing Britney Spears." The flick claimed that the "Can't Stop the Feeling!" hitmaker helped in creating a negative report about Spears after their split.

Viewers who watched the documentary immediately condemned Timberlake, leading him to issue a public apology.

"I am deeply sorry for the times in my life where my actions contributed to the problem, where I spoke out of turn, or did not speak up for what was right," he wrote on Instagram. The industry is flawed. It sets men, especially white men, up for success. It's designed this way."

The estranged pair met on the set of "The Mickey Mouse Club" and dated from 1999 to 2002. Reports suggested they broke up due to intense media attention and the "Toxic" singer's alleged infidelity.

Timberlake dropped the hit song "Cry Me a River," which was reportedly written about his ex's cheating controversy, hinting they did not end their relationship on good terms.

Meanwhile, a source clarified that Spears does not hold a grudge against her ex because she feels they were young and in love at that time.

Aside from the "What Goes Around... Comes Around" singer, Spears' memoir is expected to include stories about her parents, Lynne and Jamie Spears. It might also touch on her feud with Jamie Lynn Spears.

"It's not Britney's intention to skewer anyone," another insider said of the memoir. "She's just going to relay the facts from her perspective."
