It won't quite be the concert for Bangladesh but it will still be a heck of a show. The George Harrison estate has announced a benefit show on September 28—titled George Fest: A Night to Celebrate The Music of George Harrison—in tribute to the late Beatle that will be staged at Los Angeles's El Rey Theatre featuring an all-star lineup.

Among the acts to expect: Beach Boy and Beatles influence/influencee Brian Wilson, Wayne Coyne and Stephen Drozd (the Flaming Lips), Brandon Flowers and Mark Stoermer (The Killers), Weird Al Yankovic, Butch Walker, Cold War Kids, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club plus members of the bands The Strokes, Weezer, Spoon, the Cult and more.

The proceeds from the show will go to Sweet Relief, a charity that arranges financial support for down-on-their-luck musicians. Tickets are on sale for $35 and will go quickly, if we had to guess.

You can check out the full lineup and the rest of the details at El Rey's website

September has thus far included two big announcements regarding Harrison, as Universal Music announced earlier this week that it would be releasing a six-disc box set titled The Apple Years 1968-75 that will feature the former Beatle's first six solo albums accompanied by a series of previously unreleased tracks, including a tune that features Eurythmics' guitarist Dave Stewart and Ringo Starr, according to previous reports
