Fans are excited to watch Christine and the Queens perform live at his concerts until the end of next month, but it appears that the shows will not move forward as an announcement was made online about the cancelation of his tour dates; what happened?

Taking to his official Instagram account, the musician, who uses "he/him" in pronouns and sometimes go by the name Red (Redcar), was said to have suffered from an illness which led to the cancelation of his shows.

"Red (aka Christine and the Queens) was taken ill today and on advice of doctors forced to make the difficult decision to cancel all remaining tour dates for 2023," the announcement reads.

As of this writing, it was not confirmed what type of medical condition the singer suffers from.

"The tour was scheduled to resume tonight in Montreal and end in Paris in late November," the statement concluded.

In addition, the team also assured fans that refunds will be available at their point of purchase.
