Creed just announced their reunion tour called "Summer of '99," which will happen in 2024 and will go through 40 cities across North America.

According to reports, the band, most known for their prominence in the post-grudge music scene, will reunite for the first time in 12 years, and no one is more ready for it than they are.

"I feel like I'm as strong as I've ever been vocally, and looking forward to sharing the stage with the guys again," frontman Scott Stapp enthusiastically said.

"The fans have clearly let us know they feel it's long overdue. I want to give them what they deserve. I'm ready to bring it."

Creed consists of four members, Stapp, Biran Marshall, Scott Phillips, and Mark Tremonti; they were formed in 1994.

The band took a hiatus for 10 years, since 2013, despite having a new album on the way. Their fifth studio album was shelved, and they went their separate ways.

Creed Reunion is Finally Here

Creed will be accompanied by several guests including 3 Doors Down, Daughtry, Finger Eleven, Fuel, Vertical Horizon, The Verve Pipe, who will all be at the Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernadino on Aug. 31.

"Summer of '99 and Beyond Festival in San Bernardino is going to be so special for all of us," Tremonti, the guitarist of Creed, said.

"It is giving us a chance to bring performances from the cruises and tours together in one location. That show is going to be a highlight for us next year."

As per Consequence of Music, the pre-sale for the reunion tour is slated for Nov. 1 at 10 a.m. via Live Nation. The code is BACKSTAGE.

Aside from the "Summer of '99" tour, Creed will also be taking part in the "Summer of '99 and Beyond" cruises which will be held in April, traveling from Miami and Orlando, back to back.

This is not the first time Creed has reunited. In 2009, the band briefly had a reunion which lasted for three years, until 2012.

"We never felt like we weren't together. We're not looking at this as a reunion. It's more of a rebirth," Stapp said about the reunion at the time.

As of this writing, Creed has released four albums: 1997's "My Own Prison," "Human Clay" in 1999, "Weathered" in 2001, and "Full Circle" in 2009.
