French Montana was recently in Colombia, and before his private plane was stopped by authorities for a checkpoint; they searched the aircraft for illegal substances.

According to TMZ, the rapper was on his plane on the runway, ready to leave the country, when they suddenly had to be stopped by Colombian authorities, but French Montana insisted on his innocence.

"Colombia, I love y'all, but y'all didn't have to do me like this," the rapper said in a video uploaded on social media. He then panned the camera to show his plane being searched by the police as well as a K-9.

"You know we Coke Boys but we ain't Coke Boys for this," he added. "Streets is so f***ed up, they thought I was bringing a big load. I know y'all see the strip clubs all f***ed up."

He then explained how the police probably thought that he visited the country to "save the streets" by "bringing a big load."

French Montana Won't Return to Colombia?

French Montana expressed his disappointment towards how Colombian authorities treated him by joking about it on social media.

"Ain't this crazy, Colombia, it's time to go, but I ain't gonna lie, we trapped. We trapped here at the Clearport, just because we the Coke Boys. They got the dogs out for us," he wrote as a follow-up.

"They ain't letting the plane leave until they sure we ain't leaving with no brick out of Colombia," he added, noting that he will keep his fans posted for further updates and that he had a "great time" in the country.

He did not, however, reveal if he had plans of returning to the country or not.
