Priscilla Presley, the mother of the late Lisa Marie Presley, talked fondly about the emotions she has since felt after her daughter's demise earlier this year.
Lisa Marie Presley died of similar complications like her late father, Elvis Presley.
Priscilla Presley Talks About Lisa Marie's Death
In an interview with Piers Morgan on Talk TV, Priscilla opened up about how her daughter's death has impacted her. (via People Magazine)
"It's like a large part of your life is taken away," Priscilla said, describing the death of her daughter as "unbearable."
Apparently, Lisa Marie has been unwell since their last meeting together - at the Golden Globe Awards 2023.
"She didn't look well that night, and I was concerned," Priscilla recalled. "She asked Jerry Schilling, one of my best friends, if he could hold her. Her heels were high, but she had worn them before, and I thought, 'Is she OK?' She didn't really look that OK, she looked very frail."
Lisa Marie Presley attended the Golden Globe Awards with her mother, Priscilla Presley. They were in attendance for "Elvis," where actor Austin Butler won Best Performance by An Actor in a Motion Picture - Drama for his outstanding portrayal of the Elvis Presley, the King of Rock and Roll in the musical biopic "Elvis."
"Then we watched the show, and we had a few laughs, and we were all excited about Austin Butler and [director] Baz [Luhrmann], and the movie went so well, we were proud of them, then we started to go, and she said, 'Mom, do you want to go to Chateau Marmont and have a drink?'" Priscilla continued to recall.
At one point, Priscilla and Lisa Marie even tripped down the stairs and they laughed it off - a sweet moment between the two.
Since then, Lisa Marie soon experienced having severe abdominal pain.
"Then I hugged her, and she went her way, and I went mine, and that hug was the last hug I gave her," she mentioned.

Lisa Marie Presley Cause of Death
On Jan. 12, 2023, Lisa Marie Presley, 54, was found dead by her ex-husband Danny Keough lifeless in her bathroom. Paramedics tried to revive her but she did not make it.
Autopsy revealed that she died from "small bowel obstruction" caused by a bariatric surgery she had undergone. The opioids found in a toxicology report was also revealed to not have contributed to her death.
