PinkPantheress and Ice Spice released one of the most viral songs in 2023, however, they were nowhere to be seen in the recently released list of Grammy nominees under the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category.

To make matters even worse for PinkPantheress' fans, the singer was snubbed altogether.

According to Forbes Magazine's report prior to the official release of nominees for the upcoming Grammy Awards, the singer had a pretty high chance of receiving a nomination-in fact, they seemed pretty sure she would get a Best New Artist nod.

Following the announcement of the nominees, fans rallied on X (formerly known as Twitter), denouncing the Recording Academy for neglecting to recognize PinkPantheress and her contribution to music this past year.

"'Boy's a Liar Pt. 2' with PinkPantheress & Ice Spice really got robbed for Grammy nominations," one wrote dejectedly.

"No PinkPantheress grammy nominations..."

2024 Grammy Nominations

According to Chart Data, an account on X, these were the only songs that made the cut: "Thousand Miles" by Miley Cyrus featuring Branid Carlile, "Candy Necklace" by Lana Del Rey featuring Jon Batiste, "Never Felt So Alone" by Labrinth featuring Billie Eilish, "Karma" by Taylor Swift featuring Ice Spice, and "Ghost in the Machine" by SZA featuring Phoebe Bridgers.

The list received mixed reactions from netizens, with some who seemed contented with the nominees, while others claimed that there are others collab songs that deserve better, like "Boy's a Liar Pt. 2" and KPOP star Jungkook's "Seven" featuring Latto.

PinkPantheress Unleashes New Music

While it seems like PinkPantheress is yet to claim her flowers any time soon, she is trying once again with the release of her debut studio album "Heaven Knows."

While most of her previously released songs have become big on social media, the singer wants to cement herself in music history and prove herself, as not just as a one-hit-wonder but a hit-maker.

"The record is about grief for a loss but being at peace with yourself in your aloneness," PinkPantheress wrote. "Journeying from hell into purgatory, but I'm OK with being there."

The singer is going to be performing the songs from the newly released album as she opens for Olivia Rodrigo's highly anticipated "GUTS" world tour.
