Coldplay has been doing their victory lap with their highly anticipated "Music of The Spheres" tour all over the world, and they just announced additional shows in Australia and New Zealand.

"Due to phenomenal demand, a fourth and final Melbourne date has been added at Marvel Stadium for 3rd November 2024," read the band's official statement, shared on their social media pages.

According to reports, Coldplay will be performing a total of 11 shows in the Land of Down Under; they will be performing four shows in Melbourne's Marvel Stadium and Sydney's Accord Stadium, and three in Auckland's Eden Park.

How to Get Tickets to Coldplay's 'Music of The Spheres' Tour?

The tickets will go on sale on Dec. 1 for the general sale at 10 a.m. via the Coldplay website; access to the pre-sale tickets, on the other hand, began last Nov. 29.

According to reports, Coldplay's concerts will be opened by PinkPantheress and Emanuel Kelly for all their shows in Australia and New Zealand.

Coldplay's current tour is in support of their ninth studio album, "Music of the Spheres," which was released in October 2021, and boasts three singles, "Higher Power," "My Universe" featuring KPOP super group BTS, and "Let Somebody Go."

The concept of the album was inspired by the "Star Wars" film franchise, which is why there are nods to the universe, plants, and the solar system.

"Higher Power" and "My Universe" both earned Grammy nominations for Best Pop Duo/Group Performace.

Coldplay's Victory Lap in Malaysia

Despite the entire world begging to see Coldplay perform in their cities, some citizens of Malaysia were against the band performing in their country after an outcry over an incident that happened with The 1975 in July.

Tao Nie Ching, the country's deputy communications and digital minister, ruled that concert organizers must have "a kill switch that will cut off electricity during any performance if there is any unwanted incident."

According to reports, Coldplay was given the green light to perform in Malaysia after much debate and discussion.

"The prime minister has also said the band is very supportive of Palestine. So, we are upbeat about the concert today," said Communications and digital minister Fahmi Fadzilit.

"Why should we stop a group that supports the Palestinian cause from performing?"

Coldplay expressed their support of Palestine during their concert in Japan.
