Her career started when she signed under Big Machine Records in 2005, and at the beginning of her music trajectory, she was a country singer inspired by the music of Shania Twain.

Throughout her career, the singer went on to release some of the most iconic albums of all time such as her debut self-titled album in 2006, "Fearless" in 2008, "Speak Now" in 2010, "Red" in 2012, "1989" in 2014, and "Reputation" in 2017.

In 2018, she signed under Republic Records where she released more albums like "Lover" in 2019, the sister albums "Folklore" and "Evermore" in 2020, and her recent "Midnights" in 2022.

Swift is in the middle of releasing re-recorded versions of her earlier albums because of the controversy of Scooter Braun who acquired the rights to her music.

According to Forbes, the estimated net worth of Taylor Swift is now a whopping $1.1 billion. The outlet noted that her earnings didn't come from other ventures like fashion lines, beauty brands, and such, compared to other musicians like Jay-Z, Rihanna, and more.

However, it was clarified that the majority of the pop superstar's earnings came from her work as a musician, thanks to her tours.

The outlet broke down that more than $500 million of her money came from royalties and her series of shows. On the other hand, the other half was due to the increasing value of her music catalog.
