Ken is feeling the Christmas vibe and will be releasing a holiday version of the Grammy-nominated song "I'm Just Ken."

The announcement came days after Ryan Gosling and Mark Ronson were spotted leaving a studio together.

On Dec. 17, 2023, Mark Ronson and Ryan Gosling were spotted leaving a studio.

Fans were unsure what the do were doing at the time - if it's a "Barbie" supercut, or a different project in general.

Now, it has been revealed through the Official Instagram Account of "Barbie" that the two were actually cooking up a holiday version of "I'm Just Ken."

"I'm Just Ken (Merry Kristmas Barbie" will be released on Dec. 20, 2023.

Ryan Gosling 'I'm Just Ken' Barbie

Ryan Gosling's performance on "Barbie" earned him several acclaim from critics and fans alike.

The internet loved Gosling for his laughable yet praise-worthy performance of "I'm Just Ken," Gosling's power ballad.

"I'm Just Ken" arrived at No. 87 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, one of the many tracks from the "Barbie" album that charted on the genre-blending singles chart.

Aside from this, "I'm Just Ken" has been nominated for Best Original Song in a Feature Film and Best Onscreen Performance in a Feature Film at the 2023 Hollywood Music in Media Awards.

Likewise, the song has also been nominated for Best Song at the 2024 Critics Movie Choice Awards, Best Original Song at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards, and Best Song Written for Visual Media at the 2024 Grammy Awards.

According to Ronson, the song was one of the first few tracks written for the "Barbie" album.

"I instantly had this idea for this lyric: "I'm just Ken / Anywhere else I'd be a 10." It just seemed funny. It felt a little bit emo, like, this poor guy. He's so hot, but can't get the time of day," Ronson explained to Vanity Fair.

Explaining how Gosling's appearance on the film worked out, Ronson had this to say: "He really got [that] it had to walk this line of not being funny or parody," he says. "But obviously, the song is also kind of ridiculous at times. So he was really amazing, and when he really did start hitting the big notes, I was like, this dude is a vocal powerhouse!"
