Even if Taylor Swift and her boyfriend Travis Kelce will be in Los Angeles this week, the NFL star won't be going to the 2024 Golden Globes with the singer.

Swift, 34, is one of this year's candidates and is anticipated to attend the 81st annual ceremony on Sunday at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

She received a nomination for her Eras Tour concert video, which has made over $250 million globally in less than three months, in the new category of Cinematic and Box Office Achievement.

At SoFi Stadium, where Swift held six sold-out performances back in August, Kelce, 34, and the Kansas City Chiefs will play the Los Angeles Chargers on the same night.

A source told Page Six that Kelce intends to fly back to Kansas City with his teammates immediately following the big game in order to get ready for the NFL playoffs, even though it is scheduled to take place before the awards presentation on CBS.

So Kelce won't be attending the Golden Globes after-parties or walking the red carpet.

Swift's movie Eras Tour could help the celebrity win a Golden Globe for the first time.

On a $15 million budget, it was shot at one of Swift's LA gigs and released in theaters on October 13.

The almost three-hour film captures the whole performance, giving fans who were unable to purchase tickets an opportunity to witness the enchantment.

However, Swift faces fierce competition in the new Oscar category, from big office smashes Barbie and Oppenheimer.

Swift has received four nominations for Best Original Song in the last ten years, making this her fifth Golden Globe nomination overall.

Carolina from the movie "Where the Crawdads Sing" (2023), Beautiful Ghost from "Cats" (2020), Sweeter Than Fiction from "One Chance" (2014), and Safe & Sound from "The Hunger Games" (2013) are among the songs that have been nominated.

Swift was conspicuously absent from last year's ceremonies, but she was present for her first three nominations.

Her now-boyfriend Joe Alwyn joined her in 2020, but they did not walk the red carpet together. After dating for six years, the former pair called it quits in early 2023.

Alongside Idris Elba, Swift presented at the 2019 Golden Globes.

Swift can be "anywhere she wants to be," according to Golden Globes executive producers Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner, who were asked to comment on any specifics on her potential seat this year.

Swift and Kelce did ring in 2024 together at a NYE party in Kansas City, Missouri over the weekend, despite the fact that they won't be together on Sunday night.
