  • OK Go Claims Apple Stole its Idea for "Writing's on the Wall" for its iPhone 6 Launch Video "Perspective"

    Apple may seem like some of the biggest innovators out there right now, with the announcement of its iPhone 6, 6 plus and Apple Watch earlier this week, but indie rock band OK Go doesn't think so. The band is claiming that Apple ripped of its idea from the music video for "The Writing's On The Wall" for its new promotional film "Perspective."

  • U2 Surprise Release New Album 'Songs of Innocence' After Apple iPhone 6 Announcement

    The introduction of the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and the iWatch wasn't the only major news coming out of Apple's big live stream announcement today (Sept. 9), there's also a new U2 album. At the closing of the Apple event, U2 performed a new single, announced a new album and simultaneously released the LP, titled Songs of Innocence, to every iTunes user for free. iTunes users can now go into their music library and listen to the new 11-song album now.
  • Apple's Thinner And Faster iPhone 6 And iPhone 6 Plus Are Available Sept. 19 In Nine Countries

    This might just be one of the biggest days in tech history or at least that is precisely what Apple is hoping for with the release of their iPhone 6. This afternoon's hotly anticipated live streaming event from the Flint Centre for the Performing Arts (the same venue where the original Mac was unveiled back in 1984) was billed as the biggest launch since the original iPhone hit the market back in 2007. Die-hard iPhone users began lining up outside of Manhattan Apple stores days in advance, anxious to be some of the very first to catch a glance of the latest technology and tech gurus around the world are hoping that iPhone 6 will live up to all of the hype.
  • Dr Dre and Jimmy Iovine reportedly getting senior positions at Apple as part of Beats deal

    As previously reported, Apple is in the works to acquire Dr Dre and Jimmy Iovine's Beats for a reported $3.2 billion. According to The Wall Street Journal (via XXLMag), the deal includes incentives that would give the duo senior positions at the company.
