Clay Aiken Slams 'American Idol' Judges, Season 15 Premiere as Worse Than a Root Canal
Clay Aiken may have launched to fame on season 2 of American Idol, but he's no longer a big fan of the show. Despite appearing on the season 15 premiere on Wednesday night (Jan. 6) to help with the auditioning process, the "Invisible" singer live-tweeted the show and quickly dissed the current judges, Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr. and Keith Urban. -

Sony Music Sued by 19 Recordings Regarding 'American Idol' Royalty Dispute
A number of American Idol contestants are being drug into a lawsuit as their publishing company has discovered an issue with Sony Music's records. 19 Recordings, a music company run by Idol creator Simon Fuller, alleged that multiple audits have found several former Idol contestants have not been paid proper royalties. The performers include Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Chris Daughtry, Jordin Sparks and Clay Aiken. -
