That rumored Shakira/Rihanna collaboration is, in fact, happening. And, according to Twitter the track "Can't Remember To Forget You" is coming quite soon.

Today (Jan. 6), Rihanna revealed the release date for the highly anticipated track is next Monday, Jan. 13 while responding to fan @Javiroo.

After @Javiroo claimed the Shakira track will drop on Jan. 14, RiRi quickly took to the social media site to correct him. "ACTUALLY I just found out you'll have it by the 13th! #1week," she tweeted.

"Can't Remember To Forget You" has been a rumored track in music circles for months, and the collaboration only got more hype after rapper Pitbull spilled the Shakira/Rihanna beans in a video interview in December.

When discussing his new single "Timber," Pitbull revealed he initially reached out to Rihanna for the now-Ke$ha featuring song, but she was busy with another musical bigwig. "The person that we were first looking to work with on that record was Rihanna. And Rihanna had something to do with Shakira and was unable to work on our record," he said.

Meanwhile, Shakira tweeted that she had just wrapped up the track's music video on Dec. 8.

Now, that collaboration is on its way for sure.

"Can't Remember To Forget You" will be the first collaboration between Shakira and Rihanna. According to Billboard, the song will be the lead single from Shakira's spring 2014 album.

The untitled LP will be the Columbian singer's first English-language album since 2009's She Wolf.
