More than a decade ago, Britney Spears allegedly ruined someone's relationship as her boyfriend at the time was reportedly married, but the wife of the man in question is speaking out about the incident, saying she's grateful that the pop star got rid of him from her life.
AzLynn Berry the ex-wife of Spear's ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib, spoke with Us Weekly to reveal that she's thankful for what happened.
"I'm so f****** grateful that, for whatever reason, this unbelievable person walked into my husband's life and removed him from mine," she told the publication.
Berry and Ghalib were reportedly married from 2003 to 2008 until the paparazzo had a relationship with the princess of pop.
Ghalib and Spears met in 2007. At the time, the singer was swarmed by aggressive paparazzi that's why she jumped in the photographer's car to hide from them. Since then, their relationship began which lasted for a couple of months.

Later in the interview, Berry, who works as an alignment coach and is based in Los Angeles, said the pop star's presence "was the catalyst that was strong enough" to put an end to their marriage.
"I'm actually very, very grateful," she continued.
Berry further explained that she would've ended her life if ever she stayed in a toxic relationship.
Spears shared some glimpses of her relationship with Ghalib in her book "The Woman In Me" and she revealed that she had no idea he was married at the time when they met.

Berry told the publication that the singer's father, Jamie Spears, even tried to intervene and share the truth about the photographer's identity to her but nothing happened.
"If you have a choice between listening to someone who has kind of ripped away your identity and the hot guy with a thick accent that's willing to treat you like a human being, you're going to get what you want out of it," she added. (via Page Six)

Per Page Six, Ghalib and Spears eventually broke up after she allegedly found out that he tried to buy a pregnancy test for publicity.
The pop star went on to have a relationship with her former manager Jason Trawick. They almost tied the knot as they were engaged but things didn't last as they broke up in 2013.
Three years later, she met Sam Asghari in the music video shoot of her song "Slumber Party." They had a relationship and even got married in 2022, but the fitness enthusiast filed for divorce in 2023.
