Over the past few months, Justin Timberlake has received negative comments from the public after Britney Spears shared some alleged information about their relationship on her new book "The Woman In Me."

Regardless, this won't hinder the musician from releasing new music and even though he received some bad press, he's still excited to drop his next project.

According to a source who spoke with Page Six, Timberlake is happy to be performing and working on new music.

"He's very happy to be performing again and working on new music.He's all about having a good time right now," the insider. said.

Timberlake just released a new single titled "Selfish" from his sixth album "Everything I Thought It Was."

Fans of Britney Spears overshadowed the release when they spread the word on social media to download and stream the pop star princess' song of the same name from 2011 as a protest.

It appeared that they were successful as Spears' track reached the number one spot on the US iTunes while the NSYNC member's was only third.

The internet went wild when Britney Spears released her memoir "A Woman In Me" as it contained personal information about her life and relationship with Justin Timberlake.

In an excerpt of the book, it was revealed that the pop star fell pregnant with the NSYNC member and she considered it as a "surprise" but not a "tragedy."

"I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I'd anticipated," she wrote. (via People Magazine)

She further noted that she agreed not to continue with the pregnancy and she was unsure if it was the right decision because Timberlake was "so sure that he didn't want to be a father."

Aside from a new album, Justin Timberlake will return to the big stage for a massive tour, which he announced during his appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon."

The musician will kick off his "Forget Tomorrow" world tour in Vancouver, B.C., on April 29 before visiting major cities such as San Diego, San Antonio, Austin, Forth Worth, Tulsa, San Jose, Las Vegas, and many more.
