Halle Baily had people shocked when she revealed that she had given birth to her child, Halo.

However, some weren't surprised at all because they had been speculating about her pregnancy for months.

Now, Bailey has finally revealed the reason why she had been hiding it all this time.

A fan lamented online that they're annoyed at Halle Bailey for oversharing her pregnancy online. (via Page Six)

"I don't think people are mad she hid her pregnancy. People are more so annoyed that she went out of her way to lie and gaslight about it. Then, she shaded people and called them desperate. Now, she wants those same "desperate" people to know every little detail," the user posted.

Responding to the fan on Twitter/X, Halle Bailey clapped back at a fan who had accused her of "gaslighting" her fans about her pregnancy.

"I never lied or even said anything about it honey , making a joke about my nose was the farthest i went . i'll never understand why you are mad i protected my own peace, wouldn't you do the same?" she said on social media.

Bailey revealed that she gave birth to her son, Halo, in December 2023, a son she have with rapper DDG.

"and i'm gonna share my pics now if i want to because my son is here safely, if u don't wanna see it just keep scrolling baby lol God bless you !" she added.

In a follow-up Tweet, Bailey quipped, saying her hormones are at a high.

"lol my hormones have been on 10 recently so i'm gonna go back to staying off twitter. love you all," the "Little Mermaid" star said.

Halle Bailey Confirms Pregnancy, Giving Birth

On Jan. 6, 2023, Halle Bailey shocked the world on Instagram when she confirmed that she gave birth to her first child, Halo.

"Even though we're a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son.. welcome to the world my halo," she wrote in an Instagram post along with Halo's little hand. "The world is desperate to know you."

Celebrities, including Nicki Minaj, Rachel Zegler, Kylie Jenner, and more, have shared their excitement and congratulated the young couple on their new baby.
