Halle Bailey, DDG Breakup Rumors Are 'Fake News': Report

Over Coachella 2024 weekend, rumors swirled around that Halle Bailey and her boyfriend, rapper DDG, had broken up.

This came after Bailey was spotted watching her sister, Chloe Bailey, alone at Coachella.

Coachella festival-goers have spotted Halle watching Chloe's performance alone, which led many to wonder on social media why DDG wasn't around then.

Ace Showbiz also reported that Halle and DDG unfollowed each other on their respective Instagram accounts. Some eagle-eyed fans also checked that they have since deleted photos of each other on their respective Instagram profiles.

Halle has been very elusive in the past talking about her relationship with DDG.

"There's lots of things [about DDG] that make me so happy. I think what's really cool about love and being young is that you could just live and have a good time. But, my personal life is something I keep sacred," she told Entertainment Tonight in 2023.

However, the Halle and DDG breakup rumors spreading like wildfire on social media were confirmed to be false by the "Little Mermaid" actress' team.

Speaking to Radar Online, Halle's team denied the rumors that the couple has called it quits on their relationship.

"This is fake news. Not true at all," the source simply confirmed.

While the confirmation seemed to seal the deal, many still questioned it because of the couple's questionable social media decisions.

Halle Bailey, DDG Welcome Son Halo

DDG and Halle welcomed their son, Halo, in December 2023, shocking the public because of Halle's "secret" pregnancy. Despite being widely rumored that she's pregnant, Halle never confirmed nor denied that she was pregnant - exacerbating public speculation that she was the latter.

In an interview with The Jason Lee Show, DDG explained how their family started.

"We weren't aiming for a baby, but it just kinda happened," he furthered. "What are we going to do?"

DDG also revealed that he and Halle "have the same interests in being parents."

"And I feel like she always wanted to be a mom. We always kind of just give off that energy, and I always wanted a kid. So, from there we just made the decision to go through with it," he concluded.
