Wherever Chris Brown may be, violence of some sort surely can't be far behind. As reported by the New York Post, a brawl erupted at a Manhattan nightclub early this morning (Sept. 11) during a Fashion Week after-party attended by Brown and his entourage. There are conflicting reports as to whether or not Brown or his entourage were involved.

The incident reportedly began when a woman knocked into a waitress carrying drinks. The club's host attempted to intervene with the ensuing altercation when, according to the Post,  "A male patron, believed to be with the girl, stepped in and tried to pour or throw the contents of a beer bottle over the host."

The bottle in question was reportedly smashed over the host's head, resulting in a "minor laceration" in his left eye. The host was treated for his injuries, while the man who smashed the bottle was removed from the club.

Chris Brown was reportedly in the club's V.I.P. section during the fight. Though a witness tells the Post, "Neither Chris Brown nor his entourage were involved in the incident," the New York Daily News reports that "Brown and his entourage started arguing with another group and...were throwing bottles at each other."

A rep for Brown confirmed the Post's account, claiming that the incident "didn't involve Chris or any of his people."

Brown took to Twitter this morning to address the brawl and deny his involvement, which you can check out below:

This incident isn't the first time in the last month that violence has erupted at a party attended by Chris Brown. On the morning of Aug. 24, former Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight was shot six times at a pre-VMA party thrown by Brown at a West Hollywood nightclub.
