Halle Bailey Explains Son's Names Origin
While speaking to People Magazine, Halle Bailey reveals who thought of naming their son, Halo.
"It was actually my boyfriend's idea," Bailey revealed, referring to her boyfriend DDG. "He's the one who came up with his name."
According to "The Color Purple" star, they both "agreed" and "loved" it instantaneously, "I love the name Halo."
As to whether the name was derived from Beyonce's iconic song of the same name in 2008, Bailey seemed to brush off the idea, saying that "He for sure has a theme song."
On Jan. 6, 2023, Halle Bailey shocked the world on Instagram when she confirmed that she gave birth to her first child, Halo.
"Even though we're a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son.. welcome to the world my halo," she wrote in an Instagram post along with Halo's little hand. "The world is desperate to know you."
Celebrities, including Nicki Minaj, Rachel Zegler, Kylie Jenner, and more, have shared their excitement and congratulated the young couple on their new baby.

Why Did Halle Bailey Hide Her Pregnancy?
In responding to a fan who lamented why she was oversharing on social media details about her pregnancy, Halle Bailey clapped back and revealed the real reason why she hid her pregnancy in the first place.
"I never lied or even said anything about it honey , making a joke about my nose was the farthest i went . i'll never understand why you are mad i protected my own peace, wouldn't you do the same?" she said on social media. "and i'm gonna share my pics now if i want to because my son is here safely, if u don't wanna see it just keep scrolling baby lol God bless you !"
