Pharrell Williams' infectious, best-selling UK single "Happy" is so infectious it's even hit Maroon 5. During a recent visit to the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, Adam Levine and co. covered the G I R L track, slowing it down and making it just a little funky, as Maroon 5 is wont to do.

Wearing a Hawaiian shirt and Los Angeles hat, Levine appears just as chill as ever when performing "Happy," a fitting look for his slowed down take on the classic Pharrell pop anthem.

Accompanied solely by acoustic instruments and a keyboard from his bandmates, Levine gives his signature falsetto to the ode to happiness, all while slowing down the tempo and keeping things super soulful.

It's the blend of pop that shouldn't work, but somehow Maroon 5 pulls it off...

Maroon 5 have a lot to be happy about these days, as the band is having massive successes with its fifth studio album V, which was released on Sept. 3. The album itself debuted at No. 1 on the US Albums Chart and the lead single, "Maps," is sitting comfortably at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Maroon 5 will also make its fans happy, when they perform on the second episode of Saturday Night Live season 40 with host Sarah Silverman.
